All good things come to an end and unfortunately so did our competition! The weekend was amazing, in more ways than one, after months of preparation we feel we achieved exactly what we aimed for: a fun competition with many international competitors, a sportive environment, a good crew and many new personal and national records!

Results are already online here and as you may have noticed they where put online real time during the competition on Sunday. During the Saturday event (DNF National record relay 2008) 6 new national records and 1 continental record where set in Dynamic no fins! On Sunday there were 10 new national records and 1 continental record! With in total a massive 18 records broken in 1 weekend it was one of the most, if not the most, recordbreaking event in freediving history. All dynamic records of the Netherlands (with and without fins, both male and female records) where broken, which is amazing due to the fact that this was also the National Championships so stakes where high for the recordbreakers!

Thanks to all the athletes for coming to snowy Eindhoven, thanks to our amazing crew of volunteer safety divers, you where amazing! Thanks to the judges: Ute, Christoph, Francois, Nicolas, MT. We all hope to see you next time again and we are now planning to do this again next year! Keep visiting our website for information on the 5th Dutch Apnea Open! It will be even bigger and better!!!
