Immersion Freediving, in collaboration with DPer Freediving, proudly hosted our 17th AIDA Junior Judge Course (pool and depth disciplines) in South Korea. This edition was particularly special, as we were joined by Aruna Yamashita on the beautiful island of Jeju-do. Our base was in Seogwipo, home to DPer Freediving, where we’ve been conducting AIDA Judge Courses since 2018—often more than once a year.
This course was a great success, marked by enthusiastic students, challenging sea conditions, and unforgettable Korean cuisine. As always, the event was flawlessly organized by Bongjae Kim, founder of DPer Freediving.
We’re already looking forward to returning to Jeju-do and partnering with DPer Freediving again later this year.
