AIDA 4

Experience the pinnacle of AIDA International freediving courses! This program elevates your confidence in freediving to new heights. You’ll not only master latest techniques for deeper dives but also learn how to condition your body for optimal performance. The AIDA4 freediver course represents the highest achievement for recreational freedivers, featuring four theory sessions, two pool sessions, and a minimum of six open water sessions.

Content:
– Theory: Physics (Dalton’s Law, Boyle’s Law, Henry’s Law, Decompression Sickness, Nitrogen Narcosis), Failure Depth (definition, increasing VC, decreasing RV), Exhale Diving (FRC, usage, dangers), Mouth-fill Technique (application and benefits), Diet, Equipment Rigging
– Equalization: Advanced techniques including Frenzel Mouth-fill
– Safety: Advanced Rescue Techniques
– Training: Lung and Body Stretching, Exhale Diving, Coaching
– Pool: Static & Dynamic (With & Without Fins)
– Open Water: Free Immersion, Constant Weight, (Variable Weight optional)

Duration: 5 days (or optional 6 days)
Prerequisites: Completion of AIDA3 Advanced Freediver course or equivalent and current First Aid with CPR certification. Must be 18 years or older, or 16 years of age with parental or guardian consent.
Pass Requirements: 3:30 min STA / 70m DYNB / 32m CWTB / rescues from 20m, 15m with 1 fin / Theory Exam (75%) / Practical exam teaching / Line setup & knots exam.
Remark: Certification as an AIDA4 freediver is contingent upon meeting all performance targets set by AIDA standards.
