Cross over evaluation

Freedivers who have trained another agency can transition to the AIDA Education system. Your instructor will conduct crossover sessions for each student interested in progressing to the next level, ensuring they meet the requirements for the desired AIDA course. The AIDA crossover evaluation assesses the freediver’s skills in both in-water performance and theoretical knowledge, while also providing an opportunity to refresh their abilities before starting the next level course. This evaluation lasts at least one full day and covers all skills required for the previous level.

Key assessments include:
– Pool Assessment: Static (STA) & Dynamic (DYNB), Rescue, Safety, Technique
– Open Water Assessment: Constant Weight (CWTB), Rescue, Safety, Technique
– Theory Exam Assessment: All previous levels with a 75% pass rate

For instance, a student aiming to enroll in the AIDA3 course must complete a CWTB dive to 20m, a rescue from 10m, a STA of at least 2:00 minutes, a DYNB of at least 40m, and achieve a score of 75% or higher on the AIDA2 written exam.

Duration: Minimum of 1 day, depending on the course level.
