Immersion
Established in 2002 by Pim Vermeulen, an AIDA Instructor Trainer and Judge Instructor, Immersion Freediving has certified hundreds of freedivers, instructors, and judges, while introducing approximately 2,000 scuba divers to the world of freediving through specialized sessions. Pim has made significant contributions to AIDA freediving by organizing numerous international competitions, World Championships, and record attempts.
Immersion Freediving has a proud history of coaching athletes, including 2x World Record holder DNF Renate de Bruyn, World Champion CNF Mandy Sumner, and national record holders Anastasiia Yakymenko, Beata Grickevica, and Lyndsey Bilodeau. We have also trained athletes such as William Winram and Rodolfo Robatti.
Known for our personalized coaching approach, Immersion freediving has over 25 years of teaching experience, dedicated to helping freedivers achieve their individual depth and potential.
Our motto emphasizes delivering professional, environmentally friendly activities filled with fun. With safety as our top priority, we believe in gradual progress to help you reach your potential. We create an stress-free environment that encourages self-development and, most importantly, FUN!
We offer instruction in English, Dutch, German, and Japanese.
