Instructor Courses
Instructor course
If you are a skilled AIDA4 freediver (or equivalent) and aspire to become a professional in freediving, the AIDA Instructor Course offers the knowledge and training necessary to launch your professional career. Throughout the course, you will gain insights into becoming a teacher, trainer, and coach, with a primary focus on instruction. The theoretical component will cover teaching methods, identifying technique errors, and assisting individuals in overcoming mental barriers.
Cross over to AIDA
The AIDA Instructor Crossover is exclusively designed for freediving instructors from other agencies and serves as a streamlined version of the complete AIDA Instructor Course. It includes various academic, confined, and open water sessions, along with examinations. Participants will gain an understanding of the AIDA System and will be evaluated based on AIDA standards. An assessment session will be conducted to determine eligibility for this course.
Master Instructor
The next step in AIDA instructor training is to achieve the status of Master Instructor. To qualify for the AIDA Master Instructor course, candidates must be active AIDA Instructors with at least one year of experience and possess the required certifications. This course will focus on teaching advanced freediving techniques and provide a deeper understanding of advanced freediving physiology.
Instructor Trainer
The last stage in AIDA freedive education is to become an Instructor Trainer. To achieve the title of AIDA Instructor Trainer, you must assist in several AIDA Instructor courses alongside an experienced Trainer. This program typically lasts 9 days, and the prerequisites include being an active AIDA Master Instructor with a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Master Instructor, along with the necessary number of certifications to enroll in the program.
