Immersion Freediving, in collaboration with local organizer Ian Lee, proudly hosted our 1st of 5 AIDA Junior Judge Courses during this month long trip, the course is covering both pool and depth disciplines, the first course is in lovely Guangzhou, China.
Our base for this course was Dasha Sports & culture park in Guangdong, Guangzhou, where we received fantastic support from the local organizer and sports center management where we could use a conference room and their 50m pool. The open water session and line measurements were at the Forest Sea diving center, an amazing fresh water lake with moderate temperatures all year around.
The AIDA Junior Judge Course was a great success. We were fortunate to have a group of enthusiastic and dedicated students who approached the course with great energy and professionalism. All participants successfully met the course requirements, demonstrating the knowledge and skills needed to take on their new responsibilities as AIDA Junior Judges. We wish all our new Junior Judges lots of success, exciting competitions, and plenty of joy as they begin their judging journey. We are confident they will make a valuable contribution to the freediving community.
